Headed to the Trader Joe’s, I thumbed my grocery list. Rosé was written with 2 question Marks.
I left with 3 bottles.

I was trying to encourage the sun to stop playing with us and make a commitment.
To me, Rosé is the marker of summer, and I had enough of the 4pm evenings and rainy afternoons.
Even if summer wasn’t fully here, I was buying rose to make me feel like it was!
I couldn’t wait for all the green and the flowers to return, even if they did come with the worst allergies!!
I couldn’t wait for afternoons at the lake, rainy BBQs and farmers markets spread across hot pavement. Or happy hour in the sun, and dinners on the patio.
I can’t wait, because this year I was going to have a little mini bestie to enjoy it all with!
Summer in Seattle is the seasons that encourage us all to get through the winter months.
And nothing sounds more fun than bringing my baby into all those moments of joy: happy hour patios, rainy BBQS, farmers market flowers, spilled beer at the mariners games. Yes! I’m ready! I have 3 bottles of Rosé!
